Practical steps for finding a professional, joining as a service professional and keeping your account safe.
Find and book a professional
Browse freely. To send a request you only need your name, a Nigerian phone number and a confirmed location.
6 practical stepsSet your location
Use your device location or place a pin on the map, then confirm it. OGAMAX uses your state and local government area to show professionals who cover your area. Nearby results use the search radius shown on the page. Whole-state results include professionals who serve the entire state.
Choose a service and a professional
Select a service, then review the professional’s description, approved services, work photos and completed-job ratings. A professional appears as available only when they are approved, online, inside their working hours and not at their job limit.
Describe the work
Explain the problem clearly and add up to five photos (JPEG, PNG or WebP, 3 MB or less each). Keep phone numbers and exact addresses out of the description and use the private fields instead.
Confirm your booking
Enter your private address or nearby landmark, your phone number, and accept the transport notice. Your address, phone number and photos are shared only with the professional you book.
Connect and agree the details
Once you confirm, the professional’s phone number and chat unlock. Agree the scope, timing and price with the professional before work begins, and keep the agreement in the in-app messages so both of you have a record.
Confirm completion and rate
When the professional marks the job Done, confirm completion under My bookings and leave a rating. Ratings are linked to completed work. If something has gone wrong, use Help & support before you rate.
Join, get approved and receive work
Create your professional profile, pay the one-time registration membership, complete review, then choose when and where you work.
6 practical stepsCreate your account
Register with your full name, email address and password. Verify your email address before you continue.
Complete your application
Add your business name if you have one, your phone number, your residence state and base area, and your coverage: nearby areas or the whole state. Select the services you offer, upload a profile photo and an identity document or professional certificate, and accept the code of conduct.
Pay the registration membership
Pay the one-time registration membership shown in your account through Paystack. Your application is reviewed after the payment is verified. Payment alone does not make your profile public.
Wait for approval
OGAMAX reviews your application, your documents and each service you add. You will not receive customer requests until your membership is active, your application is approved and at least one of your services is approved.
Publish your services and profile
Choose “Add service”, select one of your services, describe the work and submit it for review. Approved services appear on your public profile. You can add up to three work photos in addition to your profile photo. Each new service or change to an approved service is reviewed again.
Set your hours, accept and complete jobs
Choose your working days and hours (West Africa Time) and switch on availability only when you are ready. You can hold up to three active jobs at a time. When a job is finished, mark it Done to free the slot. The customer then confirms completion and can rate your work.
Keep your account and your job safe
Sign in securely, recover access, protect the details you share, and know what to do if something goes wrong.
6 practical stepsSign in with your password
Use your registered email address and password. Use “Remember me” only on a device you control. An ordinary session lasts one day. With “Remember me” it lasts up to 30 days.
Recover access
Choose “Forgot password” to receive a one-time reset link by email. Changing or resetting your password signs out your other sessions.
Keep requests sent without an account
A request sent without an account is linked to the browser you used. To keep it in your account, create an account and sign in on that same browser.
Protect your private details
Share your exact address, phone number and photos only through the booking form. Never share your password, one-time codes or card details with anyone, including someone who says they work for OGAMAX.
Stay safe when work begins
Check that the person who arrives matches the professional you booked and their profile. Agree the work and price before it starts. If you feel unsafe at any point, leave the premises and contact the emergency services.
Get help
Open Help & support, describe the problem and include your request reference where you have one. Do not send passwords or payment card details by email, chat or phone.
